Long Description:
Drop in to our social event and have a go at some of the types of activities our volunteers get up to, on our nature reserves and elsewhere. There'll be hands-on practical conservation work, crafting, gardening and more - plus the chance to chat to us about what you would like to do, whether you're available to fill a regular slot or just on an ad hoc basis around other commitments. No previous experience or special talents necessary!
We'll provide all the tools needed on the day - whether it's for cutting brambles, birdwatching or creative crafts! Children are very welcome but must be supervised at all times. Come on your own or bring family or friends, pop by any time between 2:30pm and 6.30pm and stay as long as you like. We'll be at the Far Ings Education Centre and we'll try to make sure the kettle's on when you arrive!
